Hi All,
I recently installed the Antivirus Plugin and found when the av enabled for www proxy it doesnt allow login to Hotmail, some secure ligin sites and msn chat. But when i disble the plugin , everything is ok.I remember i had the same problem long time ago also when i tried to do the same.
Now the server is a new one, still the same problem happens.
Thank you & Best Regards
Manu

Hi Manu,
Welcome back. That seems particularly odd. We are running Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate and we don't have any problems like that (With secure sites, etc.) Are you using the latest version of Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate? (Anything downloaded within the last year would be okay)
Are the antivirus databases up to date with everything showing up properly when you go into the plugin configuration?
What error messages do you get when you attempt to visit these sites? And - how does your clients connect out through WinGate? (Tried to find that in one of the earlier posts, but suspect it might be in one of the emails in the office)

Hi Pascal,
Thank you very much.
This is the latest AV i downloaded and updated. I just wanted to try it before purchasing. Now running on 30 days trial on my New Server.
I dont use NAT and email server.
Users are connected to internet through www proxy on port 82 and the www proxy server is connecting to internet through a cascaded proxy server of my ISP on port 8080.
When i enable the AV plugin,
Eg1: i open hotmail, then provide my user name & Password -> click on singning in => the window stays like that showing "done" in status bar
Eg2: It doesnt login to msn. I use socks5 proxy server to connect to msn
But when i disable the plugin evrything back to normal.
PN: I couldnt see any error warnings
Best Regards
Manu Mathew.
