Cant block specific sites in ban List

Hello All

Thnx 4 providing help 2 every one .

i have a little problem . I have a Netcafe. I want to block some sites . I tried to block through ban list . But it is not working . Late i figured out when i stop the www proxy server . Still internet is being shared through . winxp dialup ICS .

1) How can i ban using ban list . i tried to block it as

www proxyserver -> policies -> Everyone / Use -> Banlist -> Add filer
url contains playboy ............. default rights ignored

i tried the same in socks proxy server , System Polcies , and rigth click on web page in activity for Global ban list , Nothing works

Allthough when i have pure sight plugin installed it works . But i cant block all porn site to customers. Etc

How are your users connecting out through the WinGate Server? Are they using direct proxy connections, NAT (Having set the default gateway, etc.), have you installed the WinGate Internet Client on each of them?

That will tell us where you need to configure the policies to do what you want it to do.

Do you still have ICS enabled and running? In conjunction with WinGate? If so - that's a reasonably bad idea ... I'd recommend disabling one of the two.
