I'm having a problem receiving e-mail from certain users who log on to their web based e-mail and use it to send e-mail when out of the office.
gatekeeper tells me the following: SMTP In:Mail Blocked (server lied).
I've noticed that gatekeeper displays the computer name as an IP whenever it blocks an e-mail sent from a web based e-mail. The same user is able to send from their office using their local e-mail server.
I have added the IP it displays as blocked to the system>mail>receiving>use open relay detection option to allow that IP or server to come through but it still blocks it.
Any suggestions are welcomed and thanks in advance.

This post gives a brief explanation. Where is the webmail service located?

I think you wanted to include a link to a post but forgot to put it. If you could provide the link.
The webmail is located on our webserver running argosoft.

bench,
Turn on debug logging in SMTP to get some information.
What you usually see with "server lied" is that the remote indentified itself as the same name as your WG SMTP domain name.
i.e. Your domain is bench.com the remote says "hello my name is bench.com"
You'll be able to see in the debug log all the communication that goes on, but if you get a lot of email this file could get very large.
If you post a sample of what you get and describe what webmail is being used we'll all scratch our heads and try to figure out a solution.
