Wingate engine stops every minute

The wingate engine stops about every minute and only restarts manualy, but stops again after ca. 1 minute.
My IT supplier spend already 8 hours on our system without any results and adviced to buy something else.

This all happened after a adsl distortion last friday, before this wingate runned perfectly. Our server runs on ms server 2000

Check for worms and upgrade to 5.0.10.

We did upgrade and check for worms but nothing changed !

Go to perfomancemonitor and check utilization. Write back after that.

Hi again, talked to one of my partners and their suggestion was to swich the xDSL-modem. If the modem drops it can close the eth-interface. I am not sure but i believe that Wingate can get confused if the interface is going up and down. Any crew who can respond to that

One minute is hardly long enough for WinGate to even start up.

Does it ever process any requests?

Hmmmmm there was a problem like this if you had Visnetic AV installed and one of the DLLs was deleted.... are you using any plugins?
