Licensing issue

Guys,

This is a funny one although I'm not laughing.

Back in the days of revision 5.X I had a 6 user pro license.

I have upgraded this some time ago to the 6 User pro license for release 6.X. Under the license manager, both of these are showing as installed, and have been for many months with no problem.

A few days ago, I got a system message which says that I have in illegal wingate license which failed validation (The license has allready been upgraded) blah blah etc etc. Knowing I have valid licenses I ignored this but it has popped up again today, why is this??

At any one time, there is a server, and 4 clients maximum.

Any ideas?

So you can still see the orginial version 5 license listed in the License Manager?

If you upgraded using this license then it would have been flagged as ineligible for activation, that's why you're seeing the invalid license error. If you remove the version 5 license leaving just the upgraded version 6 license you should be fine.

I'll try this tonight.

I'm still confussed as to why its sat there for the last 5+ months and never popped its head up until now but if it fixes it I dont care.
