Wingate shutting down then Stopping altogether

Jun 24 05 8:51 am

Please Help

Have just split my old Wingate Server onto 2 seperate Servers behind a DSL connection.

All was working fine then on Monday the Wingate Server on one of the machines started to shut down periododically. A restart of the Engine got it up and running again.

Then Yesterday the Engine continues to run but none of the Clients can browse the internet.

I have some DNS issues showing on the GateKeeper, but this is showing on both servers, one is working and the other is not.

Any ideas, I set up one to go out port 30 and the other port 80

1. Do you host your own DNS Server?
2. Are you using Active Directory?
3. Can you attach an ipconfig/all from each machine in this post (2 servers and one client)? (partly mask any information you deem private)
4. Can you attach a configuration report? (GateKeeper --> Options menu --> Advanced -->Save Report) (partly mask any information you deem private)
5. Can you confirm you have no licensing problems.

1 Not sure of what you mean about hosting DNS Server, I use 2 servers with wingate to provide internet access to 2 different departments planning for a split of offices to 2 different locations

2 Yes I am using Active Directory

3&4 If you attach your email address I can mail you the config files, I am not in the office so I cannot get all info for you.

5 I have no Licence issues
