Hi there,
I am using Wingate v.6.1.4 as internet gateway.
One of our clients are downloading file by using torrent software. This machine consumes most of our bandwidth. All sessions of this client are NAT.
Is there any way to restrict a client to do that? I've tried to use bandwidth controller function but it seems very hard to configure.
Please advise,

Hi, yes you can disable NAT if:
You don't need a firewall
You don't need seamless connectivity that NAT provides
You will proxy all services
So you could disable NAT with those precautions above and reboot without a firewall.

Thank for your reply,
It is impossible to disable NAT. Is there any option to prevent specific user using NAT?

You can disable NAT for all computers while retaining WinGate's routing and firewall functionalities. To do this, navigate to Gatekeeper -> System -> Extended Networking -> General, and uncheck "General Purpose Internet Sharing (NAT)". This will disable NAT for ALL users.
Or you could disable NAT for specific users by denying those users access to the Extended Networking services using policies. Gatekeeper -> System -> Extended Networking -> Policies.
