I am able to get to the main EBay website, but cannot access "My Ebay". In fact, no one on my network can. I can access My Ebay using the browser on the Wingate PC, thus bypassing Wingate, so there MUST be something awry that I'm not seeing. I've looked at the various logs but nothing pops out at me as being a problem. I even tried disabling the PureSight plugin on the WWW Proxy Server, but that made no difference. I'm not using any other plugins.

[bump] No takers on this issue? Really would like to get it resolved.

OK - shots in the dark here.
Can you tracert to it?

Hmmm...
I can get to
http://my.ebay.com, but anything past that is not accessible. Once a user logs in, they issue a temporary token to allow access to certain user pages that I would not be able to access otherwise. I just cannot think of any other way to troubleshoot this problem.

Are you using NTLM on WinGate?

Yes, NTLM

I"ve seen some odd behavior there. Can you test without it?
Once again - shots in the dark here.

Well, I tried lots of things to no avail. The page finally comes up after waiting almost 4 minutes... no kidding. I've seen slow responses in time past due to misconfiguration of DNS, but never one that took that long. It's almost like certain pages are being "dripped", but I have nothing like that in place. Why would some sites do that, but others not. I have two separate sites that exhibit the same problem, so I'm really wondering about this.

It sounds like a problem with the old WinGate6.x proxy structure. If I send you a tech preview build of WinGate7, could you install it somewhere and see if that resolves the problem?

Yes, I would give it a try. Thank you.
