I want to active the ban-list between 09:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 -16:30, so everyone can msn etc before and after office hours and during the lunch time. I though to have found the solution, by making 2 batchfiles BAN_ON.BAT and BAN_OFF.BAT. The files changes the part of the register that actives and deactivates the banlist . I can start the batchfiles using the taskplanner. But wingate will only look to the new setting by stopping and starting the service.(this will drop important connections) Has anyone an better solution? Thanks in advance

You can create time based policies easily in WinGate, the easiest way to do this is to create a new policy on the www proxy.
There is a guide on how to do this here:

As Jason mentioned, time based policies are the way to go here.
Create 1 policy that restricts client access using the ban list. Then create a second policy that does not restrict access, but only applies during specified times.
When the second policy kicks in, it will override the first policy and bypass the ban list.
