Hi,
Running wingate on Windows 2003 server for about 6 months with no real problems until...
noticed a message flashing on the wingate icon in the task bar so investigated. Viewed it thro' the gatekeeper mesages it said; Complete or partial failure of service - check wwwproxy server bindings. Wingate seemed to be still running ok - but at some laterstage in the day it stopped connection to the internet. Restarting the service and or the Wingate engine nor a complete start of the server had any results. The message came up each time and we could not access the internet via wingate.
In wwwproxy server configuration it showed that the binding info in the top window (LAN and the local host one) were both showing error in the status field. Dont know where to start looking of for what....Any hep would be really appreciated.

Hi Peter,
This is quite a common problem if you have a web server, or other service installed the computer that also wants to use port 80. To resolve this problem, you should change the WWW Proxy to use a different port. 8080 is a good alternative.
- GateKeeper -> Services -> WWW Proxy server -> General -> Change the Service port to something other than 80
