I have a Lotus Domino Server that sends mails through wingate server which is in different ip address.
The problem is I can't send mail and even receive mail behind wingate.
I think the wingate firewall blocks the incoming and outgoing mail of my Lotus Domino.
Can someone please help me solve this? Is there other things to consider aside from the Firewall? ENS port security?

What happens if you disable the SMTP and POP3 services in Wingate, can you use email then?

Hi,
I read also in some posts here, that it could be the cause of your problem, IF you leave these services "up and running" on wingate !
best regards

Not actually a problem as such, with the services disabled a client just uses NAT to port in and out of Wingate like any other similar device.
Wingate's mail server and POP3 proxy are excellent solutions for corporate mail management, of which I have many examples deployed.
