I have a problem with the email server.
I have configured the email server according to your method for sending and receiving emails with the email server of my ISP.
My Outlook sending emails to Wingate and Wingate sending emails to SMTP server of my ISP. Wingate receive emails from the POP server of my ISP and my Outlook receive emails from Wingate.
My ISP is "Orange"
The domain of "Orange" is "www.orange.fr"
The POP server of "Orange" is "pop.orange.fr"
The SMTP server of "Orange" is "smtp.orange.fr"
The domain that I created with the email server of Wingate is "orange.fr"
The email address that I created with the email server of Wingate is christian.bonnin@(my domain of Wingate) : "christian.bonnin@orange.fr"
My email address at my ISP is "christian.bonnin@orange.fr"
This configuration allows me to send and receive emails without any problems.
This configuration does not allow me to send emails to recipients whose address ends with "@orange.fr".
I tried to change my domain that I created with the email server of Wingate to "orange.local".
This configuration allows me to send emails to recipients whose address ends with "@orange.fr".
This configuration does not allow me to receive emails.
Indeed, Wingate receive emails from the POP server of my ISP but my Outlook not receiving emails from Wingate.
I noticed that the emails are in a directory of email server of Wingate.
What is the problem ?
Thank you very much

Hi Christian,
By setting up a domain in WinGate's email server, you are effectively telling WinGate that it is the responsible for that domain. This will cause WinGate to process all mail destined for orange.fr locally, where in fact the emails should be sent to smtp.orange.fr as the final destination. The good news is that this can be easily fixed.
What you will need to do is tell WinGate that another MX server is responsible for the domain.
1. Go to GateKeeper -> System -> Email -> Domains
2. Open the orange.fr domain properties
3. Under the General tab, select "Mailboxes for this domain are hosted on another server
4. Under the Addresses tab, make sure there is an address handler for each of the orange.fr email addresses that you are collecting and storing locally.
For each address handler:
5. Open the address handler properties and under the General tab, select "Override domain delivery settings".
6. Select "Deliver mail to local mailbox
7. Enter the name of the user that the address handler should be associated with.
After making these changes, WinGate will forward all emails destined for orange.fr to the proper MX host by default, but it will still handle your own email addresses from the orange.fr domain locally.

Hello Logan,
Thank you very much, I'll try and I'll keep you informed.
I have another problem.
The computers on my network are equipped with Avast anti-virus.
The updates of Avast anti-virus does not always work.
I feel that this is a problem with caching Wingate.
I configured Wingate to prohibit caching of URLs containing "vpu" (file extension when downloaded updates of Avast anti-virus).
What is the problem ?
Thank you very much.

I'm not aware of any issues with Avast updates, so here's a few common issues to check.
Do you have Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate, and/or PureSight for WinGate installed on your server?
If so:
- Make sure drip-feeding is enabled in the proxy server
- Add the Avast update URL to the overrides of the installed plugins
Are you requiring authentication in your proxy server?
If so:
- Try adding an exception so that the Avast update URL can be accessed without authentication. Update clients typically won't handle authentication requests.
And of course, make sure you are using the latest version of WinGate (and it's plugins if applicable).
