change mail location to network server

Aug 04 09 5:57 pm

Hi,
Is it possible to change the default mail storage location and cache to a network storage server?

looking to set up a RAID5 on a Seagate Blackarmor network storage server, for performance improvement.
Thanks

Hi

yes, logging, history, cache and email folders are settable in the registry.

HTTP cache folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Qbik Software\WinGate\Cache
CacheDirectory REG_SZ. This can be a relative path (default) relative to the WinGate folder, or an absolute path. Use a UNC path for a network share, e.g. \\Server\Share\folderpath

Email store folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Qbik Software\WinGate\Settings\Mail
Mailroot: REG_SZ. This is a full path.
