Hi

that indicates that DNS resolution is not working in WinGate.

Can you surf the web from the WinGate computer itself?

You may need to check your TCP/IP settings on the WinGate computer - esp DNS settings. WinGate's DNS resolver uses the settings from the network TCP/IP properties.

Hi,

I have a Broadband connction and configured External NIC with Static IP,
Gateway IP and 4 DNS IP's.
Internal NIC configured with IP 192.168.0.1 with default subnet.

If I Stop Wingate then Internet is working on Wingate Server.
again when I start Wingate Internet is not working on Wingate Server
but still works on Client.

in this senerio when i enable java authentication then after login client computer
shows following error
" lookup for www.google.com failed"

and in the activity list it shows "HTTP/1.1 500 Host Not Found"

Thanks

Hi

Probably best if you open a support ticket at support.qbik.com

It's most likely a problem with TCP/IP setup on that computer. Possibilities usually include issues like

* multiple default gateways, or incorrect default gateway on one or more adapters (generally should have no default gateway set on any internal adapter)
* some DNS server specified unsuitable (e.g non-forwarding so unable to resolve internet names)

the support desk can go through a discovery process with you and help you best.
