Two lines are used by turn for each new (proxy!) request. So you will feel the difference only if you are making a few or better a lot of similar requests. I mean, downloading one large file and surfing 10 web-sites will not allow you to fully feel the difference too, because the line used for downloading will be fully clogged.
So if you are a home user, not an office admin, I doubt Wingate will justify your hopes...
