Hi,
Some time ago I changed the users setting from assumed to everyone with unrestricted rights.
In some way most of the users are not capable of downloading files of any size.
Do I miss a setting here?

Do you have either of the plugins installed? (Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate or PureSight for WinGate)
If so, is drip feeding enabled? (GateKeeper -> Services -> WWW Proxy Server -> Sessions -> Drip-feed data to client if bigger than X kB)

Kaspersky is installed, Puresight is not installed.
Drip feed is not enabled in the WWW Proxy server - plug-ins - Kaspersky Anti virus
Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks for replying

Can you please try enabling the drip feed setting.

I'm impressed, this solved the problem
Thanks a lot!
Can you explain why this setting solved it?

The plugins need to have 100% of a file in order to scan and make any decisions about it, so when a plugin is installed and a client downloads a file, WinGate downloads the entire file, scans it, then passes it on to the client. From the clients perspective, it will look like the download is broken or stuck which is an optical illusion of sorts since the download is very much active in WinGate.
Enabling the drip feeding option allows WinGate to pass the first 75% of a file to the client while it's being downloaded from the internet. It still holds the last 25% back until the download is complete and the entire file can be scanned before passing it to the client. To the client, the download will appear to be working normally until 75% where it will stall for a while and then continue very rapidly.

Thanks for the very clear explanation!
