Dear Support,
I've recently upgraded my Wingate to the 6.6.4 version.
Now sometimes, when trying to access a web page the user receives a "Socket Error - Connection timeout" message.
After one or two minutes the website can be accessed normally.
This error never happened in the previous versions of Wingate.
Can you help me ??
Thanks,
Gabriel

Hi,
Can you access the website from the Wingate machine making a direct connection at the same time?
What you could try is to tracert to the Internet server[s] which don't respond // from CMD window --> tracert ato.gov.au // for example.

Hi Nev,
Thanks for your attention.
This is an example of a link I'm having problem:
http://cotacoes.economia.uol.com.br/aca ... =ALLL11.SAThe exact error message is "Socket Error - Connection to Remote Host timed out".
This afternoon I received the error message, then I tryed to use the server and the website opened normally. So I used the "tracert" in the user station and it worked just fine but the site did not open (I'm using IE 8).

Due to a SMTP problem I'd to downgrade Wingate to version 6.2.2 for a day.
The "Socket Error message" did not appear.
I'm still waitting for help.
