DNS lookup Problem

I have install 6.03 wingate on W2k Standalone Server with 50 concurrent user license running on my company. I checked dns is ok to go internet .

It's is alway automatic stopped and prompt the message "dns cannot lookup "XXXXX.com " address on IE.I sure when stopped the server can access to internet when I use command prompt to lookup internet address.So when restarted engine thats will return normal can go to internet on IE. Then after 15-30mins will stopped again and prompt the same error message "cannot lookup "

I have try to do following option to check is still got this problem .
e.g ( restard wingate engine service and reinstall wingate )even I try fresh installed PC& Wingate .

So , what have problem of my wingate . I have no idea to do anything can resolve this problem. someone can help me to fix it . Thanks!

Do you have any other DNS servers on your LAN? E.g. an Active Directory Service?

It is possible sometimes to have DNS looping, where for instance your AD server is configured to forward requests to WinGate, and the WinGate machine is configured to use the AD server for DNS as well. This would create a DNS loop.

WinGate monitors performance of all the DNS servers it knows about, and it is possible if one becomes unresponsive, that it will start using another one. This can lead to loops that only start occuring after a period of time.

If you do have an AD server or other DNS server on your LAN, you need to make sure WinGate will not use it - to do this, from the start menu choose

Start->Programs->WinGate->Advance Options.
Select "DNS servers"
add the IP address of your AD server.
This will stop WinGate's DNS resolver from using this DNS server.
