SMTP Server.log error on wingate6.2.2

Hello Qbiz support,

i found the error message on SMTP server.log as :

size of log is 14Mb/day , howto fix it?

Hi

each of those messages implies that the queue processing in WinGate found a .rcp file in the mail queue, but then couldnt' find the matching .msg file.

You could try finding the matching .msg files (probably either in WinGate\Mail\Spool\Incoming, or WinGate\Mail\Spool\Dead), and place it alongside the matching .rcp file.

Otherwise just delete the .rcp file.

I'd recommend upgrading to at least 6.6.4 (free) or WinGate 7. Latest builds of WinGate 7 simplified the queue management (take out one of the steps of moving the files around) so this problem should be gone.

Thank you for your support, now I delete .rcp form Wingate\mail\spool\postin and no more message error.

How to upgrade with the current configuration?

for 6.6.4, just install over the top.

For WinGate 7, there are some things that need to be manually migrated after installing over the top, so we recommend you familiarize yourself with it on another computer before upgrading.
