Internet connection speed

I have a 25 mbps download and 3mbps upload; sense I installed Wingate 6.6.4 my internet download speed is 4-5 mbps but upload is good. I disable my windows 7 firewall. This is on my home network. Just wonder if you could give some suggestions or previous posts that might help.

Hi Scott

Is this for web browsing, or any type of traffic in particular? If web browsing, is it going through the proxy (being intercepted) or just NAT? If through the proxy are you using Kaspersky AV for WinGate?

What sort of hardware are you running WinGate on, and OS?
