How to make what would have been a client machine to the passage of a specific external IP? Situation. On the client machine does not work a single application. In support of saying that the rule needs to be done for him up to a certain external IP. As far as I understand it is mapping. But then the only port mapping. And how do the internal IP to external? In general, mapping is described in the help is very meager. That is, half did not describe. Wingate 6.1.0 build 1068. Thanks in advance.

Hi
So you're saying you have an application, and one client you wish to use one internet connection, and everyone else use a different one?
Do all the clients make a connection to the same server/port, or can you configure this one client to make a different connection?
If so, then you can set up a TCP mapping proxy that only this client will use, and specify which gateway to use.
Alternatively, if you use WinGate 7, you can specify which gateway to use for each connection, so you can alter behaviour depending on the client IP (or any other datum).
for example. in WinGate 7 in a TCP mapping proxy in the ClientConnect event, you can set
Session.Gateway = "192.168.0.1"
or whatever the gateway IP is you want to use.
Regards
Adrien

I have a wingate 6.1.0. About 15 computers in the network. Server has an one external IP. All 15 internal clients can access the Internet through one wingate server. But one application at single client must be a direct connection to a specific external ip address. And in wingate settings mapping is done only at the ports. How to make a mapping for the address?
