Log file name format

Curious, what is the file name format for the log files? for example, for the DHCP Service, I see:

051023.235000.log

I'm writing this on October 25, 2005, time: 6:35am EST.

I take the format is:

YYDDMM-???????.log

if so, what is ???????

it means 23:50:00

which is 11:50:00 pm.
