Banning some website for some users

Hi guys I just wondering how to ban some websites for X user, I am using assumed connections for the entire network

When I ban a website.. it does it for the entire users.

Can you try to answer the following questions.

1. What connection methods do you use? NAT / WinGate Internet Clinet / Proxy / Intercepts?
2. What version of WinGate are you using?
3. Where are you creating the policies?
4. What is an example website you want to ban?

NAT / WWW proxy server Transparent proxy

2. What version of WinGate are you using?

6.0.4 (1025)

3. Where are you creating the policies?

Users - System Policies

4. What is an example website you want to ban?

Fox example www.hotmail.com

Hi,

Thanks for the details. Since your are using Intercepts, I added the policy into the WWW Service.

I have added the Administrator Group in, no restrictions, but they need to be assumed

I then added in the user called "UserX" and created a policy to restrict access to hotmail.com; as shown in image attached. Please let us know how you get on.
