POP3 proxy retrieval

when we're pop3 proxying, does Wingate have the control to be able to delete spam mail from users inboxes? we're getting hit with some stuff fairly regularly that's not being stopped at source, unfortunately.

Hi

WinGate does scan mail coming through the POP3 proxy with its plugins, but for the POP3 proxy, the only available plugin is an AV one, which won't help you in this case.

Are you running any anti-spam on your users email packages? there are a number of free ones around, including Outlook plugins.
