MSN Messenger fail conected with wingate 5

I have wingate 5.0 installed in windows 98.
I´m trying to connect MSN Messenger 5.0 (5.0.0543) through scks 5 port 1080 and Proxy HTTP but always fail to conected
I opened port 1863 TCP but nothing.

Please I appreciate if help me

try useing other messanger .. like yahoo
use sock proxy 5 and given the port no
and uncheck the autentication...

Microsoft does not support msn Messenger older than 6.0 after 2003.10.19.
So you can not login :-)
