bandwidth controler rules

hello everybody i'm new i need help with bandwidth controler
i use wingate 6.0.4 full i have 1 pc with ip (192.168.0.2) my wingate server's ip is (192.168.0.1) i use wingate proxy server for the client pc i want a clear configuration what i supose put in each field in the bandwidth controler session to give my client pc just 10 kbts download and 5 kb upload.
i want to know every configuration plz sush the source ip and the destination and i most put in the restrection etc.

Question: How does 192.168.0.2 share the internet connection from Wingate? NAT / WGIC / Proxy?

Here is a guide for you to follow; I think the download/upload speeds you have quoted are a bit low, but I have put those settings into the example.
You may need to modify the values a bit to find your desired result.

thank u very mush for help.
first i didn't install wingate client in the 192.168.0.2 pc i just put in the IE explorer proxy setting 192.168.0.1 port:80 (wingate web proxy server )
and i disabled the NAT from wingate systems. so i wonder if ur example be usefull for my client settings or there is another example.

question: 1-why did u put in the restrection user1 and user2 and how the priority level work???
2- is the 10 kbits restrection take effect for web page browsing and downloading a file (like downloading wingate.exe) or just for browsing (like opening www.wingate.com)?

can u please Explain what is Control MAX TCP windows.
and apply to induced traffic.
what r the bennifets.
and if i enable it ... will this take more cpu usage...
like allready my cpu is underheavy load..
like 80 85%

Hi,

TCP window control allows our bandwidth throttling to notify the other end that our machine cannot accept more than the specified amount of traffic - which is no more than the client's restriction. It allows some control over the inbound traffic volume.

Induced traffic application allows a rule to be applied not only on the primary connection, but on the generated connections as well - like, for example, FTP protocol, which generates secondary channel - data connection.
