IP Info not correct in GateKeeper

guys.

i've been snooping around the activityUpdates section this morning looking for people BLATANTLY flouting i-useage. anyhow, couple of people were on non-work sites, so i was VNCing to their IP addresses - unfortunately, the activities aren't tying up to the IP address, so i can't effectively see which PC is doing what.

We've never heard a report of this. We get the client IP by a socket call. Never even seen anything like this.

I would have thought this was pretty bullet-proof. We have seen incorrect machine names sometimes, based on old DHCP leases, but never wrong IPs.

Can you recheck?

hiya - it may be related to old DHCP leases, but it's definitely as i have reported --- the GK activity window is associating www proxy tasks with incorrect IPs
