Can you check the routing table on Wingate machine before and after VPN is connected?

Feb 24 06 10:46 pm

subnet 1.0.0.0 is used for VPN.the latter route table is the one as VPN client connected.
when vpn client connected, the server can still access internet while the clients can not.

So when VPN is connected, clients cannot connect to the server as well - is this correct?

Feb 26 06 2:23 pm

clients can access wingate server when the server connected VPN net,eg ping, file sharing etc.

Feb 27 06 10:32 am

Hi,

If you disable Wingate ENS driver (you have to reboot the machine after chaning this setting) - does the problem remain?

Feb 28 06 3:10 pm

i have disabled the ENS drivers and rebooted the server as you said, but the matter is still there.

Feb 28 06 3:12 pm

Meaning that the VPN driver blocks this traffic - is there anything in this VPN product FAQ or knowledgebase in regard to this traffic blocking?

Feb 28 06 3:26 pm

hi ,genie.
could you please be more kindful to have a test of this?
if so ,please give me your email and i will send you a test account of that vpn and the download url of the software.

i have tested a proxy server "ccproxy"(a popular one made in china ),it can works very well.
i think that as long as the server has a right route to internet and can access internet normally, the vpn data traffic and other traffic will no longer conflict. the server itself can distinguish the two different traffic for that the server can access internet when vpn connect .
