Video Streaming

Mar 07 06 12:57 pm

Hi,

I browse the forum for video streaming topics and none of them is related to the problem that we have. We have the latest version and everything is totally newly installed even the W2K Srvr. I already seen that most of the config in wingate are the same and base of the uninstall and install that we made are the same. So I think we go on to the issue. The site www.cbsnews.com shows video of current events and when you click on it, this will show a commercial then the main topic itself. But for us here it will just show the commercial and then it will stop. There is no way that you can repeat or clicking play will do nothing.
Can you tell me what is the problem on this? I try bypassing wingate and I can watch it with no problem, but with wingate it doesn't let me...after the commercial it will stop. That is the only problem I see as of now with other sites it's working fine.

Thanks,
Ricky

Odd, I went through this section of the page and it worked fine. There was a significant delay between the advert and the video actually playing (About 4 seconds).

1. How do you connect client machines through WinGate? (We intercept NAT connections)

2. Do you have any plugins installed? (We have Kaspersky AV on that service - drip feeding is turned ON)

3. Do you use any caching? (We have caching turned off)

4. Do you have any specific policies?
