Wingate Compatibility with Nortons Antivirus

Hello people!

I was wondering if I implement Wingate Proxy server can I use Nortons Antivirus as my virus control software, instead of the integrated antivirus that comes with Wingate??

Kaspersky AntiVirus is a plugin to WinGate (Additional Software). It is also a gateway product, so it scans email traffic, web and FTP.

You can use third party av products on the WinGate Server, however currently only Kaspersky AV has an integrated plugin.

When you use a third party av product it's recommended that you exclude the WinGate logging folders, as these change frequently and can degrade performance if the logfiles are scanned whenever they change.
