Port Map Translation Problem

May 14 06 3:43 pm

Hello,

I am trying to map an udp port to my LAN. It's working, but the packets source address is set to my LAN cards IP, so a packet from the internet is beeing translated to the LANIP. How to tell Wingate, to not translate the packets source IP address?

I used Kerio firewall with NAT before and this worked for me. I guess Wingate isn't using real NAT, or why are these packets touched?

best regards,
freemind

Hiya,

Yes, Extended networking --> Port Secuity --> Port range configuration should be the area.

We offer the option to translate the source IP or not.

If you translate it, then the machine you redirect it to doesn't need to be using winGate as its default gateway. If you choose not to translate the IP, then the machine you redirect to needs to use WinGate as its default gateway.
