Can't get IP by MAC

Jun 13 06 2:29 am

Hi,

I'm trying Wingate 6.1.3 (on a Win 2000 Pro system) to create an ICS server.
The external adapter is connected to a router (for testing) on a class c range. The internal adapter is on a class a range.
I created an scope and within that scope a reservation for the client's (Win XP) NIC MAC address.
When the client get's a lease, it's getting an IP address from the assigned scope an not from the reservation.

Could anybody help?

Jukkie.

I'm Dutch so don't mind the bad English.

Check this previous posting (erwin's second response). Entering the MAC this way works for me.

Hi,

Without seperators in the MAC address, it works perfect!

Thx,

Jukkie
