After upgrading Wingate from 6.1.2 to 6.1.3 on W2k server I noticed that many HTTP downloads wait so long times: in fact the download starts correctly but on the browsers (IE 6.0) the progress bar does not appear. Il appears only at the end of the download for few seconds, just the time to trasfer from the Wingate cache to the client. How cause this?
Also when a user check a web mail, the browser show the real name and mails from the originate users, but when the user log out and another user log in his web mail account the real name and the mails are from the previous user. What a cache problem is this?
Thanks.

First of all, the downloading problem can be related to an antivirus plugin - provided you have it installed. In order to work correctly the antivirus plugin should accumulate quite a lot (if not all) the file the client is downloading - you can aleviate this behaviour a little by using dreepfeeding option.
As of the second problem - this is related to the fact, that all your client computers (from the server point of view) are connected from the same IP address - the server might ignore cookies, for example, and rely only on the IP information. Another thing is proxy - it might cache some user-specific information.

Also when you upgraded, how did you do the upgrade?
All your previous settings should have been retained, the only change in 6.1.3 was related to a DNS exploit for looking up names longer than 256 characters.
So the upgrade shouldn't have caused any functional change in your setup.
