Cannot access Internet on Wingate server

Hi,

I have just installed Wingate 6.1.4 as a trial on a Windows 2003 SP1 server. Before I installed Wingate, I had a working Internet connection. however, now Wingate is installed I cannot access the Internet from the server machine or any clients.

The server has 2 NICS (one for Internal, one for external)

if I stop the Wingate engine, I can once again connect to the Internet from this server (direct connection to the Internet)

This server is a standalone server in an AD environment. I have also setup the forwarder into the AD DNS server to point to the Wingate server.

is this expected behaviour or do I have to set anything else up?

Hi everyone,

please ignore the above query as I have just realised that Remote Access & Routing was disabled! All sprang into life as expected once i had sorted that.
