Caching of twitch.tv VODs (Video of demands) problem

Nov 11 13 6:38 pm

I've had a few users who originally watched an entire video and then another user would go back and try to watch the same video again, only to have the video cut short by about 7 or so minutes (Each entire video is segmented into 30 minutes in twitch's recording facility) and then skip directly to the next video. I have been able to reproduce the same problem, is anyone else able to verify this problem?

Hi

which version of WinGate is this?

Do the www proxy logs show anything interesting about these requests?

It was with 8.0.3, but since I posted I upgraded to 8.0.4 and the problem seems to be gone. I'll keep ya posted if it re-appears

The number "227461882" is indicating the file size, in which 30 minute VODs from twitch are usually in the "820xxxxxx" range.
