PAC file Wingate intergration with websense cloud proxy

Hi

I have setup wingate 8.0 to upstream to my websense could proxy. The clients can point to wingate and can browse the internet.

However I need to be able to forward request from wingate to websense to fetch a generated pac file which contains exceptions of URLS that do not need to pass via websense.

Is this possible with wingate?

Are you having trouble accessing the WPAD config URL via WinGate?

WinGate has some special code in it which presumes any request for a WPAD.DAT file is for itself, so may intercept the request. If this is the case, you can alter the URL for the file in the DHCP WPAD option to avoid this.
