uninstall >> "next" >> software is in tray, but not shown in explorer. Invisible, but still taking up CPU and the uninstall process is still there. It doesn't seem frozen, just not there.
Glad I only got trial ... this is sad..

You may need to try the following:
1. edit adapter properties, uncheck WinGate Network Driver and hit OK.
2. reboot and try the uninstall again.
In some systems we find the driver prevents updating network adapter properties, and causes a deadlock when the adapter is brought down (which happens any time you change certain parameters, or change bindings, which happens on uninstall).
It only happens on a small proportion, and mainly Windows 2008. Is this the OS you're using?
