Hi,
I have been trying to establish a ssl communication from my proxy server to the destination server.
Things i have configured in the wingate are as per below;
1) Wingate Version : WinGate8.3.0.4764-USE
2) Installed the service : TCP Port Mapping.
3) Under the General Tab;
-Default mapping = True
-Configured the Destination Server IP and Port
-Use SSL value = True.
Scenario Tested;
1) -Use SSL value = False.
Able to access the URL via https from proxy to the destination server
2) -Use SSL value = True.
Not able to access the URL via https from proxy to the destination server
2) -Use SSL value = True.
NOTE: The destination server certificate already exported in the client server that accessing the proxy.
From another server trying to hit the proxy server URL(which will map to Destination Server IP)
However, when i try to establish the communication am getting error that connection closed.
Please advice on this.

Hi
It's not clear what you're trying to do.
Just normal proxy access to an https site? Or are you trying to divert or reverse proxy to an https site?
Normally TCP mapping proxies are not used for http / https.
Normally for https via a web proxy (in forward proxy mode) the client uses the CONNECT method to create a tunnel to the server.
Or are you trying to translate http requests to https?
