I'm currently trying to test a fiddler certificate in wingate, however when I try to upload the certificate it asks for a password. I've read that the Fiddler certificate doesn't have a password. So is this an issue with wingate?

to be of any use to WinGate a cert needs to have an associated private key, and these should be password-protected.
Did you export the flddler cert with private key?

Considering that Fiddler exports directly to the Desktop. That would be a no.

OK, what were you hoping to use the cert for in WinGate? WinGate can't use certs without private keys. A private key is needed to encrypt traffic with a cert.

Fun. I'm a IT Networking student so I like to see how websites and most things work.
I was able to get around this issue by creating a certificate in the WinGate and then export it to the devices I wanted.
However, Firefox is now having an issue with Self Signed certificates.

ok
another option could be to create a cert somewhere else and import it into WinGate. WinGate will import pfx files and PEM files.
There is a recently discovered bug though when trying to import certificate files that contain multiple certs.
