Hi all,
After upgrading to the latest version of Wingate i.e. 6.1.4, my UltraVNC remote access stop working.
It works fine using wingate version 6.1.1.
I hade access to a local machine from an external one using wingate NAT service with packet redirection
Any body can help?
I tried also to control an external machine from local one, but it does not work.
Should I add a TCP mapping?
Thanks in advance.
Max.

Hi Max
Do you see any entries in your firewall tab related to when you try to use VNC?
There may have been some port closed or something.

Hi Adrien,
I openned the port 5900 and redirect the IP packets to the local machine.
In the "client activity" I see the entry of the external machine with it IP Address and NAT: TCP connection to "local machine IP address":5900.
I do exactly the same things in the previous version.

Hi Adien,
I reinstalled the version 6.1.1 of wingate and I can again use UltraVNC.
I mean I can control a local machine from internet machine. But it impossible to do the opposite!
Does any body have an idea?
Thanks.
Max.

Hello Max,
I get UltraVNC working fine behind WinGate 6.1.4 (from/to my network).
Just confirm if port 5900 (TCP) is opened for "Local computers to the WinGate PC" and "Local computers to the internet".
