KASPERSKY ANTIVIRUS PLUGIN ERROR...

Oct 23 06 2:13 pm

I have just upgraded a wingate 5.2.3 installation [no VPN, no antivirus plugin] to Wingate 6.1.4, and now I am receiveing the following error in the messages log:

Object: AntiVirus
Time: 23-Oct-2006 09:11:50
Message ID: 0000
Description: This plugin is not supported on WinGate 6.1.4 (Build 1099). Please contact Qbik New Zealand at http://www.wingate.com/ to obtain an updated version of this plugin.

This wingate installation has never run the antivirus plugin. How can I tell wingate that the plugin is not used.
HKLM\Software\Qbik Software\Wingate\Plugins\ is empty if that means anything.

G'day,

Try the suggestion in this post, if the key exists that is.

Also you could try renaming the .dll found at C:\Program Files\Wingate\Plugins\Antivirus for Wingate\PluginDKAV.dll or search the registry for it and delete same, from memory could be a cure.

All reservations apply about deleting files and registry keys, esp' if no backup exists.
