But when I try to read or send e-mail using OE it gives me errors, OE never find the pop or smtp server of my ISP.
I've make a standard WinGate installation (version 5.0) without mail server and without pop3 sevice enabled (I've tryied with POP3 services enabled too).
OE works fine in the server machine, which connects to internet trhow a cable modem.
I've tryied to define a TCP port mapping to for port 110, but I get the same error.
Any Idea?

I read the help and checked the knowledge base URL you posted, like I said in my post http://forums.qbik.com/viewtopic.php?p=3764#3764 I had to use the network name to get access to the additional POP and SMTP services I setup as 8025 and 8110 to get OE to work from the client machine, Norton binds itself to port 110 on the server machine (192.168.0.1) and that prevents the client (192.168.0.2) access to the outside. I have the the Gateway tab set on the client pointing to the server machine (192.168.0.1) to get IE access (I understand I'm avoiding WGIC services this way and going NAT) but otherwise IE wouldn't work either.erwin wrote:Hungquoc,
The reason you will still be able to use Internet and email ok from the server is because WinGate does not control generated activity from the local machine (itself)(unless configured to do so)
Have you read the WinGate helpfile regarding setting up email in WinGate?
There are several scenarios outlined however these are explained in further detail in our knowledge base on how to get email configured correctly with WinGate.

Hope these help
