How to determine which license I need?

Jan 28 07 10:14 pm

HI!

I'd like to determine which license I should choose for the network. The question is not the license type, but the number of concurrent users. Since the trial supports an unlimited number of users I cannot use it to test how many licenses I actually need. Any suggestions would be appreciated. What I'd actually like is to test each license type for a few weeks to see if it's enough for our network. It's possible that a 12 user license would be enough for us, but the 25-user one is most certainly would be enough. Since we have about 25 computers connected to the network. And the price difference between the two licenses is quite significant.

1. WinGate licenses can be added together, so a 12 user license + a 6 user license = 18 user license.

2. There is no function in the WinGate trial that I am aware of to allow you to see the maximum concurrent users you have had. What I would suggest doing is monitor the activity screen to see how many users are connecting to/from the internet when you expect it will be the busiest.
