You can reduce spam with the following options. We also have an AntiSpam plugin that is in development and will be released later this year.

Hi James,

This configuration will only apply when Wingate is a Mail server receiving POP3 from remote Internet senders yes?

That is if the user is just having Wingate act as a proxy these features do not apply yes?

Please comment on the spam plugin, will it function for Proxy or Server only?

Right now I am using Mozilla SeaMonkey across my users' / clients and it's Bayesian filter. It also adapts to tags from spam engines of course with incredible success, have given away MailWasher totally.

--> This is for SMTP and POP3 Collection (which uses SMTP Server of WinGate).

--> Correct.

--> It should work with the POP3 Proxy eventually; in its current state it does not.
