GateKeeper on Client Machine does not work fine

Jan 07 04 2:38 am

I try to control my Wingate Server by lunching GateKeeper.exe on Client Machine. I configure the remote control service on Wingate Server giving rights to interface.
When I run GateKeeper from Client Machine it authorize me and open it correctly, buy I can not view activity of users logged on my Wingate Server. Why? Is it possible to view activity of user logged using GateKeeper from Clients Machines?

Two things -

1. Be sure you're logging in with an user name that has administrator rights.

2. It's best to run GateKeeper from a drive mapped to the WinGate server.

I always log with Administrator Account, but I don't run GateKeeper from a mapped drive to the Wingate Server because I don't share anything on it.
You say it is best: it is better or I must to make it works fine?
Thanks a lot for your attention!

Both ways work for me to view activity.

Running from a mapped drive has the added benefit of allowing you to view History logging.

How much is visible on GateKeeper ? Can you see any of the panes, control panel, etc. ?

If you have a WG Plus license, you cannot use the remote control feature. You will then see GK has no control panel, none of the other panes. It is used purely for authentication purposes then.
