Hey:
Sadly, I've been waiting for the same functionality for a while now. The problem seems to be that MSN Messenger needs to connect directly (not behind a proxy) or behind a uPNP Proxy (Universal Plug and Play) for Video/Audio conversations, Remote assistance and file send/recieve. Wingate is not uPNP compatible and Qbik hasn't said when they'll implement uPNP into wingate. Until then, we'll have to stick to plain text instant messaging.
If anybody knows any progress on this matter, please let us know.
Greetings,

We currently have MSN Messenger video working in both directions for NAT, but we're still working on getting the audio working. Hopefully we can get a beta driver out soon with this support added.

Is there any way we can be informed when this beta driver is released?
I have a couple users who would dearly love to get this working for video conferencing.

In the Extended Networking open the UDP ports rang from 1024 to 65535 and every thing of MSN should work

We run a secure business Intranet across the web for 3 sites using WG. We've just added webcams that run live accross the system using TCP mapping. We haven't tried sound yet but don't see why it can't be done? Basically we 'host' the camara(s) to a live webpage on a PC at the local office, and then browse to the static IP over our network. If sound was included with the video it might work?

Neil, I have twelve client PCs and the server has Wingate 5, all with Windows 2000. I have NAT activated in Extended Networking, and the clients aren't using Wingate Client. But it's impossible to send and/or receive Video trought MSN Messenger in both directions, inside/outside, in my LAN. What's is wrong? Why it doesn't work? What I must to change?
