System startup and DSL

G'day

Just a quick question, I am currently building images with Wingate 5.2.2, XP and DSL broadband. I am concerned as to whether the machine will be protected by Wingate on startup.

Does Wingate load early enough at startup to protect internet connections?

Indeed, on XP WinGate runs as a service, and the WinGate ENS (the driver that provides the firewall) loads fairly early on, and certainly before any internet connection could be established.

I have always found Wingate to be a very useful product. My company owns over 30 licenses which we use at each of our stores, I'm sure as time goes by I might have some more questions, but 5.2.2 does not seem to differant from 4.5 in it's interface.
