Administrator password gone

Jan 22 04 6:03 pm

Help!

Wingate password of Administrator (or any other user) does not work after I tick on

"Windows NT/2000 accounts" from "Either Wingate or Windoes accounts"

within User Authentication options.

Any solution to this?

Many thanks, if you can help out on this. :-)

So if you try and enter a WinGate passowrd in this configuration then do you get a 'Bad Password' dialogue returned to you? Does a blank password work? Is this from GateKeeper on the local machine? Or remotely? Does the NT password always work?! Which version of wingate is this?

Thank for the quick reponse. Neil.

1. Yes. i got 'Bad password' dialogue returned.
2. No. Blank P/W does not work
3. It is from the local.
4. I tried using NT 'Administrator' and P/W but no luck.
5. 5.2.2

I tried to fix the problem again today. (Sunday, what am I doing here?)

Before anything been changed.

I found that I can logon to Gatekeeper by click on 'Use Current Windows Login' after I logon as my account name. Becuase myself belongs ot Admin group, I can manage the WG now.

So, I am confused about account name and password within WG now. If someone can show me where to find info for this?

Regards,

Robin
