Hi :).
I've been playing this online game recently and they decided to implement an ip block. I thought this was all ok but the admins stuffed up and accidently blocked a whole section of countries who weren't supposed to be affected and these admins are notorious for taking their time in righting wrongs :). So i was hoping i could use wingate to grab the information sent out by the client and forward it off through a proxy server so i could pretend to be from the other side of the world at least until they fix it :). If this is possible (i think it is, but i dont count really ;) i woul be most grateful if anyone was willing to stop and give me a little hand :).
I've tried a few things and it just seems that wingate isn't doing *anything* i had a vague idea of how to set the whole thing up but even when i tried just simply blocking http requests through the firwall nothing seemed to happen... so the jist of it is i suk and need help... thanks in advance :)

So you want to channel all of your out going traffic (on certain ports) through your WinGate, redirect it to open proxy out on the internet somewhere and then on to the Game Server? That's going to be tricky if you don't have control of that open proxy, as that would need a mapping on it. Is this the set up you were thinking of?

Regards

Neil
