Task 'arubanet.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I just decided to try WG 5.2.2 again and installed it after having removed the previous (5.0.10) version. Now I am getting the above message while the mail stays in the outbox.

In the activity window I multiple instances of "NAT: TCP connection to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:25" from the clients. It looks like the requests are slowing the system down.

I am using ENS and have enabled the proxy servers using the standard ports and TR (transparant redirect). It is my understanding that the latter is required to maximize the benefits of the antivirus plugin.

Ok theres sounds like theres some misconfiguration here. If your SMTP connections are being TR in the SMTP Server correctly then you should not see NAT: TCP Connection in Gatekeepers activity. This suggests that the TR hasn't been set correctly. (To check this, open up the ENS properties and go to the Port security tab, and chose LAN Conenctions to the Internet' from the drop down list. Any TR's you have set should appear here). What I would suggest is that you set you LAN email clients to point at the internal IP of WinGate, so they make a direct connection to WinGate's SMTP server, and then let WinGate deliver the emails directly, rather than go via a third party.

Neil
